A graduate from Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, Ben has worked as an actor, producer, writer and director.
Starting his career with the Arcola Theatre, London, he worked with the Colchester Repertory Theatre Company before devising and performing with Tall Stories on their 'Gruffalo' series. A regular contributor to local theatre, Ben won best male performer at the Brighton Festival in 2014 before joining Alan Ayckbourn's Stephen Joseph Theatre Company.
An experienced comedy performer, Ben has starred in a number of high-profile commercial campaigns working with directors such as Daniel Kleinman, Sean Mullins and Ric Cantor for Lynx, Visa, Ikea, Fairy Liquid, Pimms and WKD, while his credits for film and TV include BBC and Sky. Ben was the face of British Heart Foundation's popular 'Dechox' campaign and the Trainline's 'Choo Choo Choo' series.
Ben made regular appearances in videos and live performances with celebrated Welsh rappers 'Goldie Lookin' Chain'.
His wealth of experience in commercial film production was honed directing creative content for Countrywide and British Heart Foundation, alongside leading projects for a wide range of established brands such as Deloitte, Icelandair, Brompton Bikes, Fircroft, Marathonbet, British Airways and Lloyds.
His passion for short films has seen his involvement a number of successful Straight 8 pictures, with screenings at the Cannes and London Film Festivals including the 'The French Collection', Shooting People's Choice Award winning 'Graveheart' - which earned praise from judge Edgar Wright - and Straight 8’s hall of fame favourite 'From Russia with Monsters'.
Ben co-founded production company Lamplight Stories to help keep artists in creative control of their projects and to provide visibility for works of art from all cultural, gender, and ethnic backgrounds.
